YORKSHIRE TERRIORS (YORKIES)
Whether if you are looking for a traditional or a teacup, our Yorkies are CKC registered and are great pets, especially for families. They are feisty and loving, and they make great companions for people of all ages and even though they are small, they are full of a big personality.
Yorkies are known for their yappy tendencies, so they may not be the best choice for people who live in apartments with thin walls. They also require a bit of maintenance, especially when it comes to dental care. However, if you are willing to put in the effort, a Yorkshire Terrier can make a wonderful pet.
SHIH TZUS
Breed solely to be companion dogs, Shih Tzus are affectionate, happy, outgoing house dogs who love nothing more than to follow their people from room to room.
They make great family pets who get along with other animals and even children, so long as kids know how to gently handle and play with a small pup. If you’re looking for a small best buddy who who can join you on the couch for cuddles, and shower you with unconditional love, this may be the dog for you.
POODLES
Poodles are regarded as one of the most intelligent breeds in the world. They’re highly trainable and well suited for just about any task you put them to and you will want to give them tasks to do. Bored Poodles can get destructive if they aren’t physically and mentally stimulated. But active owners who can meet their dog’s needs will find a loving, smart, trainable, and loyal family companion.
SHORKIES
The Shorkie is a mixed breed dog — a cross between the Shih Tzu and Yorkshire Terrier dog breeds. Small, fierce, and loyal, these pups inherited some of the best qualities from both of their parents.
Shorkies also go by the names Shorkie Tzu, Yorkie Tzu, and Shih Tzu-Yorkie mix.
YORKIE POOS
Sometimes called yorkipoo or Yorkie poo, this a popular designer crossbreed cutie with sass, spunk, and smarts! These are the offspring of a Yorkie and a Toy or Miniature Poodle. These dogs occasionally tap into their inner terrier feistiness to rumble and play with children, cats, and other dogs.
Because a Yorkie poo bonds well with humans, they are quite snugglesome and loves daily brush time. They also respond well to early positive reinforcement training and love to try games and tricks.
Yorkie poos make great dog friends for seniors, too, as 20–30 minutes of exercise each day helps them stay at the peak of health.
